ZYRO started from a contradiction we kept coming back to: the restraint of Japanese tailoring and the excess of early-2000s chrome. One is quiet, wide and precise. The other is loud, liquid and slightly ridiculous. Put them on the same garment and something clicks.

We don't manufacture — we select. We go through the factories piece by piece looking for what is actually being worn in Harajuku right now: wide jeans with a stitched dragon, sweatpants with technical embroidery, hoodies with fur collars. Then we bring it here directly, without the markup of the usual stores. That's why the price sits at around half the normal RRP for these pieces.

The only thing we design ourselves is the SAKURA DRAGON. Fifty units, no restock, released when the reservation list fills.

WHAT TOKYO WEARS, WITHOUT THE MARKUP.

Every piece that lands in the shop goes through the same test: would we wear it ourselves? If the answer is no, it doesn't come in. We'd rather have a short, chosen catalogue than an infinite, random one.

01 JAPANESE SILHOUETTE Wide up top, wide down below, hems that break over the shoe. Harajuku cuts, not shopping-centre ones.

02 REAL MEASUREMENTS Every page carries its chart in centimetres. And when a piece runs small, we say so in capitals instead of hiding it.

03 PRICE WITHOUT THEATRE The crossed-out figure is the shop RRP, not an invented price. We buy from the factory and sell direct: that's why it halves.
